OLE MIC ODD - "METAL GEAR EP" Cassette Tape - 99CTS Records

STEALTH-HEAVY, LOW-FREQ, ANALOG-HARDWARE DUB EXPERIMENTS.

Ole Mic Odd is a Los Angeles-based electro producer, live artist, and key fixture in the West Coast subterranean electronic circuit. Renowned for his gritty, hardware-centric sound, his work sits at the cross-section of raw ghetto-tech, low-slung electro, and distorted analog funk. With releases spanning prominent underground imprints, his craft leans heavily on modular grit, vintage synthesizer work, and unrefined drum machine dynamics to deliver uncompromising sonic assaults.

At its core, the Metal Gear EP is a tactical, hardware-driven homage to stealth mechanics, industrial tension, and dystopian cybernetics. Channeling the iconic atmosphere of early stealth-action gaming, Ole Mic Odd crafts a dark, claustrophobic sonic landscape built on heavy low-end theory, saturated tape delays, and razor-sharp syncopation.
