CDR is the main alias of Hikaru Tsunematsu, a highly prolific underground musician based in Japan. Active since the early 2000s, Tsunematsu is widely known in the global experimental scene for his frantic, high-speed production style. He operates heavily within "sh*tkore", breakcore, mashups, noise, and chiptune music, frequently releasing music at a dizzying pace via physical formats

At its core, the album relies on frenetic, hyper-accelerated Amen breaks and complex drum programming. The percussion is rapidly sliced, glitched, and stuttered at punishing tempos, standard for the classic Japanese breakcore style.
Songs like "Sashimi of Katsuo" and the "London" two-part suite lean into heavy, distorted Jungle baselines and fast-paced Drum n Bass riddims, filtering them through a raw, lo-fi aesthetic.
The album heavily incorporates playful yet aggressive video-game-inspired synths. Melodies are often constructed from raw square waves and retro chiptune bleeps, clashing with the brutal distortion of the rhythm section.
