The donut did, at some point, become pop-culturally elevated to the stature of a mystic food, like pizza, the latter of which we will never ever do graphically, because I've always found the subject matter to be trite and frankly rather fucking stupid. The same could be said for pigs, I guess, but at the very least it's a trope I can stand behind and still sleep well at night. —Cliver
